AKA, not only the girls living in our apartment, but most of the entire female race. I have to admit the extreme amounts of ice cream consumed lately are correlated with the last few weeks of the semester.
BUT - the semester is over! The glorious last day of finals was the other day. And that night, when Natalie returned home around 1:00 a.m. and I had also just gotten in, she said these fateful words: "Want to go get some ice cream?" We made our way to the grocery store, the only place offering ice cream at such an hour. I actually wasn't planning on buying anything since I had an ample amount of ice cream in the freezer, but then I saw Natalie perusing the Ben & Jerry's and I got jealous. I spotted Americone Dream, which I had never tried, but my friends Brandon and Ashley swear by. So I decided to try it. I mean, come on - it was on sale.
It wasn't bad; although, honestly, how bad could it be? It's ice cream. But I don't think I will get it again. It was a little plain for me - vanilla based with caramel and chunks of choclate covered cones. Delicious, but it's no coffee fudge brownie, that's for sure.
Now that the semester is over, you'd think our ice cream consumption will go down, and maybe it will, but I wouldn't count on it. It's a habit now. A dirty, dirty habit.
